Some background info i hear you say? Well...me...im Ian, a 29 and 11 month graphic designer who works in Cardiff and lives in the middle of no where in the Welsh Valley's in my 1890's Victorian terraced house. The other half of me is Vickie, a 23 year old Bristolian who lives in...well..Bristol!
Basically...Bristol is cool...cooler than Cardiff...and wayyyyyyyyyyy cooler than Swansea, which is near where i'm orignally from!
So we want to rent a place...RENT i hear you scream....throwing money away...well...not really...as i am renting my house in Wales out, so i'm not loosing money!
Now...both me and Vickie like cool homes...none of this patterned carpet or pine effect wood thank you! My current home...well...some people seem to like it...(here it is by the way...)
So...as well as being dog friendly (for Lola our English Bull Terrier and Basil our Staffy) our place in Bristol needs to be...close to good transport links to Cardiff, be in a decent area, have an enclosed garden, be old (new builds are too open plan darling!) and finally have a landlord who is ok with us painting and changing some things around so it actually looks nice.
Easy no? Well this blog will chart our progress from hopefully finding somwhere to live...and then what we do to it once we have found it and moved in!
